An abandoned factory, a long pink corridor, all the lights off. The power's out. And you're not alone.
Backrooms: Escape from Lily Lovebraids is a first-person survival horror game, playable right in our browser, no download required. The setting is the labyrinthine backrooms of an abandoned factory. Your mission: turn on all the lights at once. Sounds simple. But it's not.
Lily Lovebraids Won't Leave You Alone
Lily Lovebraids patrols the factory, turning off the lights as she goes. Each time a light goes out, you hear a distinct click from that direction. An arrow on the screen points directly to the nearest off light.
She hums as she walks. That's your only warning. The humming stops; she's seen you. Game over.
Backrooms: Escape from Lily Lovebraids Has 3 Levels
The three levels increase in difficulty:
- Level 1: One-third of the factory, a single Lily patrolling.
- Level 2: Most of the factory's lights are pulled into the fray; pressure increases significantly.
- Level 3: Two Lilies are chasing each other; there are no safe zones left.

This Gameplay Is Completely Different
Sound Guidance Mechanism
No map used. You listen for the sound of lights going out to determine your next location. This is a good design, forcing players to focus on listening instead of staring at the HUD.
The Objective Is Not Simple
The objective is not to escape the factory but to keep all the lights on at the same time. You have to run, sneak, and plan your route. Lily Lovebraids won't stand still for you.

Winning Against Lily Lovebraids Isn't Difficult If You Know This
- Listen to the continuous singing: Lily sings while patrolling. The singing stops when she sees you. Stand still or crouch immediately; don't run.
- Trust the HUD arrow: No need to memorize the route. The arrow always points to the nearest dark light; follow the corridor, don't turn off abruptly.
- Crouch when Lily is near: Running creates noise. When you hear the singing nearby, switch to crouching immediately; speed isn't as important as survival.
- Follow a fixed loop: Choose a route around the factory and stay there. Running erratically can easily lead you straight into Lily without realizing it.
- Level 3 has two Lilies: Listen to two separate sound sources. Both fell silent, then stopped completely, waiting to hear the singing again before moving on.
If you're familiar with typical Backrooms titles, Backrooms: Escape from Lily Lovebraids probably won't let you sit still.
