In Granny 2, you're once again trapped in a terrifying house, but this time it's more dangerous with two enemies: Granny and Grandpa. Granny hears every sound, no matter how small, while Grandpa can't hear clearly but attacks fiercely. Find a way to escape the house within the time limit.
If you hear Granny's house music, the ticking of a clock, or the beeping of a security camera, it means Grandpa is in the kitchen or the security room. Knowing their location is half the battle.
Tip: Dropping items on the security table won't make any noise, and Granny won't be attracted.
Each enemy has their own "song" signaling their location. Knowing this, you can move safely, knowing exactly where your opponent is.
| Sound | Character | Location |
|---|---|---|
| “Granny’s House” song | Grandpa | Kitchen (upstairs) |
| Security camera beeping | Grandpa | Security Room (upstairs) |
| Running water | Granny | Kitchen (downstairs) |
| Baby’s eating sound | Granny | Backyard |
| Piano playing | Granny | Living Room |
The attic above the security room. Neither Granny nor Grandpa can enter it.
Secret lockers and ventilation shafts. Once unlocked, you can hide inside and shoot down enemies without getting caught.
If being chased:

Items are still placed randomly, but some are mandatory or extremely important depending on the game mode.
| Item | Usage Tips |
|---|---|
| Security Key | Always required to escape on every preset except Preset 4. |
| Crowbar | Required to escape in Preset 5. |
| Special Key + Wrench | Needed in Preset 1 (when playing with 1–2 extra locks). |
| Gasoline Can | Pour gasoline first, then ignite. Follow the proper sequence. |
| Hand Grenade | Throw when enemies are far away – it takes time to explode. |
| Vase | Can be used to lure both Granny and Grandpa at the same time. |
| Boat Items | Throw into Baby’s stream; they reappear at the Sewer Deck – useful for moving items without carrying them across the map. |
Weapon tip: If you want to take them both down at once, make a sound they can both hear (e.g., smash a vase), then use a grenade or a petrol bomb.
Running around aimlessly at the beginning of the game will cause both enemies to swarm your location.

If you think you're too familiar with Granny, try Chapter Two, where the combination of the two will make every step you take heavier than ever.
