You're behind the wheel. A dark road stretches out, a yellow line running straight into the night. The map marks a stop, and people are waiting. Open the doors or keep going? Last Route is a horror bus driving simulation game where every stop has a price.
In the game, you start the engine and drive along a fixed route, from a first-person perspective. At the stop, you brake at the right spot and choose: open the doors to let passengers in or continue. The entire journey lasts five nights, and the choice made the previous night affects the following night. Not everyone waiting should get on the bus.

Decelerate from a distance, come to a complete stop, then observe. Once the doors are open, they cannot be retracted, so look at the waiting passengers before making a decision. A common mistake is braking sharply at the station and making a hasty choice when the vehicle is not yet stationary, and visibility is still poor.
Darkness is your primary source of information. Adjust the lighting before stopping; don't wait until you need to see clearly to make the decision.
The consequences accumulate over five nights, so keep a record of each stop. A small table is enough:
| Situation at the station | Action to be recorded | Observation notes |
|---|---|---|
| Person standing still, facing the bus | Stop further away, observe longer | Station location |
| Station empty but still marked on the map | Slow down, doors not yet open | Differences from the previous night |
| Passengers have boarded | Stay on the route, glance at the bus compartment | When you started noticing something strange |
When you change tactics between nights, you'll know exactly why you changed. The game also has a daily leaderboard, so each run can be an opportunity to improve your ranking.
If you're used to surviving each shift, the Five Nights at Freddy's series will give you a similar feeling.
Last Route is suitable for those who like slow-paced tension and making decisions in the dark. If you need fast-paced action, skip it.
