Pretend It's Not There is a first-person horror game that puts players in the role of Lucas, a student returning home after school. From the very first steps, the feeling of being watched clings to him relentlessly. The game has a familiar feel to Slender Man but explores fear in a much more relatable and haunting way. No running, no fighting, only one rule: pretend it doesn't exist.
Lucas returns home at sunset, his heavy schoolbag slung over his shoulder. On the table is a note from his mother, reminding him to do his homework and tidy up his toys, along with a note that there's pizza in the refrigerator. Everything seems normal until the familiar shadow reappears in the corner of the room, behind the door, right behind him.

The player must complete familiar chores like a normal child:
Each time the player turns their back, the space changes. Sounds go silent, background music fades, and doors open unexpectedly.
The creature in the game is completely silent and invisible most of the time. Just looking directly at it or reacting will trigger its immediate attack. Even if Lucas's mother returns and accidentally discovers the shadowy figure, neither can escape the tragic end, and the cycle continues with a new victim.
