That's Not My Neighbor is a free online game that can be played directly on our website. That's Not My Neighbor, a horror game that takes you back to the 1950s, where you become a doorman. Identify and stop the Doppelgangers, shapeshifting creatures that look exactly like real residents, from infiltrating the building.
The Ghost Behind the Door: The Fateful Shift of 1955
In 1955, in an old apartment building, you stand at the reception desk as the doorman, the frontline guard of the building's fragile peace. Every resident who enters the building must pass by your desk. Check thoroughly: face, gait, behavior, and identification. This is no longer a simple administrative job. Outside, Doppelgangers, human-like replicas, lurk, waiting for your mistake to sneak inside. The game puts players in a tense situation, balancing observation, judgment, and the fear of making a mistake that could lead to their destruction. Be careful with every nod!

Strict Screening Process
During each shift, you sit at the counter and observe each person entering through the glass.
Step 1: Check Identification Documents
Each person will present two documents: an ID card and an application to enter the house. You need to compare these two documents against the data in the file. Initially, when you ask about their documents, people will claim they are valid. Some will say they have lost their documents; always be suspicious.
Step 2: Observe Appearance
Open the file (right corner of the screen) to see the person's real photo. Examine every detail: eyes, nose, scars, moles, tattoos, hair, beard, glasses, hat, clothing. Note: The imposter is very prone to making mistakes in these small details.
Step 3: Call for verification
Call the phone number saved in the profile to confirm the person's identity. If the other end answers, it proves that you are facing a Doppelganger.
Step 4: Take action
After gathering enough information, you must choose. Allow entry (press the green button) or deny entry (press the red button).
Note: Use the button only when you are completely certain. Pressing the red button on a genuine person will result in their immediate death, while pressing the green button to allow the Doppelganger entry will lead to the resident's death.
The Neighbors… Or the Imposter?
The neighbors are the 20 residents living in the apartment building where you work. They are the targets of the Doppelganger imposter, so their identities are always suspicious. Your task is to identify the real residents, let them in, and stop the Imposter.
The residents inhabit three floors of the building, which can accommodate up to 24 people if single residents share their apartments with roommates. I'll name a few notable characters you'll encounter:
Floor 1
- Roman & Lois Stilinski: He wears a grey suit and a purple-rimmed beret, has a large nose, and lives with his wife, who has purple hair covering her eyes and wears a pearl necklace.
- Robertsky & Albertsky Peachman: Two brothers with curly orange/coffee hair, both with large noses. Robertsky has no eyebrows, unlike Albertsky, who has thick, super-dark eyebrows.
- Angus Ciprianni: A striking, arched mustache, brown hair, a purple pinstripe suit, and always a radiant smile.
- Elinoise & Selen Schuberz: Twins who are difficult to distinguish, the only difference being their curly sideburns. The curly hair on the left belongs to Selen. She often wears purple eyeshadow and an orange dress. Elinoise, unlike her sister, has her hair swept to the right, wears pink eyeshadow, and wears a yellow striped dress.
Floor 2
- Arnold & Gloria Schmidt: A couple characterized by round noses and short hair.
- Izaack Gauss: An independent journalist, wearing a long gray coat, a blue tie, and an expansive smile (inspired by Clark Kent/Superman).
- Nacha & Anastacha Michaelis: Two sisters with "unusual eyes." Nacha has heterochromia, a condition where a person has two different eye colors, while her younger sister, Anastacha, often wearing a school uniform, has dull, tired eyes.
Floor 3
- Dr. W. Afton, a resident physician who lives with his wife Mia Stone, usually wears glasses, is blind, and often keeps a pen in his left breast pocket.
- Francis Mosses: A milkman, lives alone, has dark circles under his eyes, and has a calm personality.
- The couple Alf & Rafttellyn Cappuccin: Alf has a round head, a large nose, and a thick mustache that covers his mouth; the pink pattern on Rafttellyn's blue dress is also something to look closely at.
- The Imposters: They look exactly like the residents but often differ in small details. Inconsistencies in their bodies will help you distinguish them as imposters. Don't miss any identifying signs, both in appearance and identification.
Special Characters
- Chester Titor: A mysterious man, wearing a turban, appears with tricky questions to challenge you. He will appear multiple times on different days until you answer his questions correctly, at which point he will reward you with a gold medal to hang on his office wall.
